Chassis Design

The chassis was designed using lightweight materials in order to decrease overall weight and maintain speed. Thin steel was used for stability and sturdiness. Once the chassis was in place the housing that contains all the sensors was constructed using a 3D plastic printer in order to make it as lightweight and aerodynamic as possible. In case the robot malfunctions and is not able to detect objects, most of edges have been smoothed out for maneuverability.
